About Rocky:

I have a B.A. Degree in Speech and served as Publisher and Editor In Chief of The Nightly Planet for four years.

The Nightly Planet was a very popular Ballroom Dance site in Atlanta, GA., where I kept the Metropolitan area informed of Ballroom Dance news and dance events on a daily basis.  I covered many National Competitions, local Showcases, Match Competitions, and studio and community dances by shooting photos, and then publishing them on The Nightly Planet for all to see.  I retired from the website 10/07/08 and decided to turn my attention to politics and writing.  I am in the process of writing several novels now.

I have worked for the United States Department Of Education for over 30 years.  I have one grown son, Michael, who served in Special Forces for the United States Marines in Force Recon during the second Iraqi War.  My brother, Steve, owns and operates his own video studio in Virginia.  I am not married, but keep myself busy writing most of the time.

I am very proud an honored to be a 32nd degree Master Mason and enjoy helping other people.  If all men were like my Masonic brothers, this country would be a much better place to live in.  Honor, integrity, love, kindness, and understanding and acceptance of other people and their rights is very hard to find these days.

My passion for helping people motivated me to publish The Nightly Planet.  This same passion has driven me to help Americans understand politics better and help them get more involved, by publishing How To Politics.  The site that you are reading now, Common Sense Reborn is designed to help show Americans just how far our country has gotten off track from our original principles, and how we can get back on track. 

The information in these articles is merely a reflection of my personal take on the readings that I have done in the field and the personal experiences that I have had myself.  It is not rendered as a certified textbook by any means.  Please read this as observations from a concerned citizen who wants to share the information that he has gathered in an effort to improve current conditions in America today.  I encourage all readers to do some research on your own in the fields that I have covered so that you can draw your own conclusions from them, whether they match mine or not.  The best information can be obtained when you read differing viewpoints.  Therefore, I suggest reading several sources for each topic.  That way you can see both sides of the story.  The bottom line is that I hope that my articles have stimulated you to think for yourself and establish your own conclusions.  And possibly, some of you may even be inspired to get into the political field in some way and make a difference.

Even though everyone will not agree with me, being free gentlemen and ladies of liberty, we should be mature enough to be able to agree to disagree on certain issues, while at the same time be good neighbors and countrymen.  After all, we are truly fortunate to share this great land together.
